The Order of Things

Our middle child, Adam has given himself the authority, or so he thinks, to decide the order of things. For instance, during bath time he will set out the order of who gets their hair washed first, second and third, which of course then leads to an argument. He is our hot tempered one for sure. Today, he is frustrated with his new "jumping" shoes. They don't seem to be going on like he wants. I told him it must be time for a nap and that strenghtened his temper and lead him to ask if it will be a "little nap" or a "big nap". I am careful to answer this question with "little nap" to cap his temper. Usually he wakes up somewhat refreshed so hopefully that will be the case today.
