Yesterday for Memorial Day we took the kids to Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was just the five of us, well five and a half if you wanna count the little bun in the oven. We climbed to the top of the Dunes and then ran down. I was of course the last one up and the last one down. Dan's mom climbed to the top when she was 8 months pregnant. I could barely do it and I am not quite 5 months yet. Man, I guess I really need to start my exercises. It was fun though. Then we came home and started the BBQ for dinner. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. Hope everyone else had a great Day! I would just like to add that I am grateful for what the soldiers past and present did and are doing for our freedom everyday.

I'm from Michigan too! I can't believe you did that while pregnant! And "MOM" at 8 months??? oh my gosh! how funny!
Good job on climbing the dunes while pregnant!!! I hate exercising even when I am not pregnant! lol
Ditto on the thanks to our Troops past and present! Being a part of the Marine Corps for 8 yrs. makes me appreciate all the sacrifices they make for us (their spouses and families too!)
Sounds like you had a great day. And as for the dune exercise, you probably climbed the equivolent of one dune per child already that day, just in getting them ready to go.
