Two days ago on Easter Sunday, Ben turned four months and yesterday was his four month check-up. Here are his stats: 27 inches long and 15 lbs 4 oz. His length is in the 97th percentile, weight is 75th percentile and head is 50th percentile. His total size is comparable to an average eight month old and he is only four months! Our little guy isn't so little! He rolls from his stomach to back all the time, and occassionally will roll from back to stomach. He enjoys tummy time as you can see in the photo and is getting good at playing with toys using his fat little hands. LOL He has been watching us eat lately and trying to grab at our food so I think it might be time to try some cereal. I'll let you know what he thinks of that!
Updated to add: I tried feeding Ben some baby oatmeal and he...LOVED it! He didn't even make a funny face and the only time he gagged was when he had had enough, and when Grace jammed the spoon down his throat, poor guy! Anyway, he acted like he's been eating solid food for awhile now, he was such a pro. He opened wide and took a bite. He knew exactly what to do. I guess he's been watching us eat more then I knew. *sniff* my baby boy is growing up!

Happy birthday to you! I can't believe how big Ben is already! I totally can relate to the knowing how to eat thing. Brennen was SO ready once I finally gave him solids. Gosh, think of how much bigger Ben will be at his next appointment having added big boy foods to his diet!
