On Tuesday, March 27, 1979, 29 years ago today, at 3:53 pm at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, California, I was born. Since I am the only writer of this blog I am posting my very own birthday wishes. Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me!

On this day the Air Force decided to assign women as pilots of noncombat planes, including the huge C-141 cargo planes and refueling tankers.

On this day the Social Security Administration admitted it was unable to credit some $69 billion in wages to workers' accounts because of problems dating to 1937. Their benefits could be affected.

On this day the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that police cannot randomly stop motorists to check licenses and registrations unless there is reason to believe a law is being violated.

On this day the Organization of Oil Producing Countries, OPEC, announces a 9 percent increase. Additional surcharges by individual producing countries may be forthcoming. The U.S. expresses its objection.

I shared a birthday with Jack Warner; Founder of Jack M. Warner Productions, later Warner Bros. Only he was born in 1916.

And finally at age 29 it is believed that I have blinked 139,943,787 times, my heart has beaten 1,323,666,000 times and pumped 25,852,851 gallons of blood.
