Adam lost his left front tooth last night, with the help of dad of course. This is the first tooth that has come out at home instead of being extracted at the dentist like his two bottom teeth. This makes the third missing tooth for Adam which seems alittle late, but better late then never. I think Sarah had most if not all her baby teeth replaced by the time she was in 2nd grade. She also got her first tooth at 5 months old. Adam was late to aquire his toothy grin which put him around 11 months old before his first tooth came in. He brought his tooth to school today to show his friends but said he felt like a hillbilly and thought his friends were going to make fun of him, until we reminded him how cool he'd be with his grown up teeth. Now if the other baby tooth next to this one doesn't fall out before this adult tooth comes in then he will look like a hillbilly. LOL Adam was very brave and took it like a man when Dan tied the string around his tooth and yanked it out, he barely made a noise in pain which is more than I can say for Sarah and I as we sat holding each other on the edge of the bed trying not to look and squealing in anticipation. All I have to say is that I am sure glad Dan enjoys helping the kids pull their teeth, because I definetly can't handle it! LOL

Hubs is just like that too, he'll sit there and wiggle it and try to yank it out for them! Ick, I can't stand to even look at wiggly teeth! lol
I used to hate it when my mom would pull out my teeth. I don't think I'll want to do it to my kids either :)
Timmy doesn't seem to be anywhere near having any teeth yet, though he chomps on everything! He'll probably be a late tooth bloomer too!
My mom never had to pull any of my teeth out thankfully. I usually could pull them out on my own. If my mom even mentioned that she'd do it, I ganked my tooth out so she wouldn't!
Thank you for my bday wishes! Yep, I turned 28 =]
I always forget this experience will be coming up in the near future for us. Guess it's a sign of growing up.
