More of these days....
When are we going to have warm weather again? I want to be outside and the kids...well the kids will play outside even when it's cold, but I am sure they would rather it be nice. I want more of these days. Warmer sunnier days also mean more photo ops for my photo blog. Natural light photography is what I am learning about right now and it's too cold to be outside taking pics.

Taxes *Edited*
Tax his land,
Tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.
Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirts,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his booze,
Tax his beers,
If he cries,
Tax his tears.
Tax his bills,
Tax his gas,
Tax his notes,
Tax his cash.
Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.
If he hollers, Tax him more,
Tax him until he's good and sore.
Tax his coffin, Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.
Put these words upon his tomb,
'Taxes drove me to my doom!'
And when he's gone, We won't relax,
We'll still be after the inheritance TAX!!
No taxes existed 100 years ago, We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. **Actually Matthew was a tax collector 2000 years ago.
What happened? Can you spell 'politicians!'
And I still have to 'press 1' for English.
My friend forwarded this to me in an email, it would be funny if it wasn't so true. Rather irritating to say the least.

Jack's creation
Jack did this the other morning in the girls room. They are flash cards of the US presidents. He had all the presidents lined up and then all the first ladies there in the middle. This is a usual occurence for him, lining things up. What really would have freaked me out is if he had them all in order! LOL

Jack's brain...
This was the converstation I just had with Jack:
Jack: (after he just finished pouring his cereal) Mom, can I eat my cereal without milk?
Me: Sure that would be fine.
A few minutes later (after the cereal is half eaten)
Jack: (with a shocked expression) Mom, I don't have any milk?
Me: (scratching head in dismay) You didn't want milk, remember?
Jack: (after a split second silence) I think my cereal is getting soggy?
Me: Huh?
Jack: I can't finish my cereal because it's soggy.
Me: Your cereal can't be soggy because you don't have any milk silly, now finish your breakfast.
Jack: (walking away singing: "Jesus was born today, born in a manager..." by Oak Ridge Boys)
CONVERSATION ENDED
Me: (sorta confused yet understanding how his brain functions not that confused LOL)

Outside
It was a nice day today so we all went for a walk/bike ride. Only one more Spring Break day left and I am finally feeling better.

Yippee!
It is registering 51 degrees here at my house and all I have to say about that is YIPPEE and WHOO HOO!! If I wasn't sick with this stupid stomach bug then I would be outside with the kids doing cartwheels in the sunshine.
Do I dare say that maybe just maybe Spring has finally arrived?
